The widget does not open
Click the Tempo Blocks toolbar icon on an ordinary HTTP or HTTPS page. Browser-protected pages and extension-store pages do not allow injected widgets. This includes browser settings, new-tab internals, extension pages, and local browser UI. Open another webpage and click the icon again.
After navigating to a different page, click the toolbar icon to attach the widget there.
The badge looks stale
Click the toolbar icon to reopen the widget and let Tempo Blocks reconcile the saved timestamp. If the computer was asleep, the browser processes the missed alarm after the device wakes. The timer uses elapsed wall-clock time, so sleeping does not silently add time to a block.
No desktop notification
Open Tempo Blocks Settings and confirm Desktop notification is enabled. Then check that your operating system allows notifications from the browser. Focus modes and do-not-disturb settings can hide alerts even when the extension sends them correctly.
A saved routine restarted
This is expected. Saving edited block names, durations, rounds, or completion behavior resets the active timer so the new routine begins in a consistent first-block state. Use Restore this routine to return the selected routine to its built-in defaults.
Send a useful bug report
Email support@wiplash.ai with the browser and version, operating system, Tempo Blocks version, routine and block involved, what you expected, what happened, and the shortest steps that reproduce it.
A screenshot can help if it does not expose private information. Do not send passwords, browser history, private page content, or account credentials; Tempo Blocks does not need them for support.
